WALES SHORT BREAK - UK

more photos | enquiry | availability check | ride reviews

This break based in a 19th century hunting lodge set in 70 acres, once the deer parks of Lord Gower. As you approach, a mile long drive meanders through 450 acres of deciduous woodland - leading to the perfect place to unwind. Gower peninsula was Britain's first designated area of natural beauty. The variety of scenery includes expansive stretches of sandy beaches, magnificent limestone cliffs, salt and fresh water marshes, woodland and moorland. An area rich in history, abundant wildlife, with miles of footpaths and common land makes this a paradise for walkers, riders, nature lovers and historians. The pace of the ride is only walk and trot so is ideal for mixed groups with beginners or nervous riders starting out again.
