	Ride Review
Any other comments I just wanted to let you know that I had a truly wonderful holiday in Iceland, with scenery, friendly company, and good natured, sure-footed horses, that was all I could have wished for. The riding was rather more difficult than I had anticipated as we travelled at a tolt almost all the time, which is very different to riding in this country, where there tends to be a fair amount of walking on most treks. A lot of the other riders owned their own horses and all were more experienced than me. However, I was just about able to keep up and only fell off once! If I were going to do a similar holiday again I think I would consider booking myself in to some riding lessons in Iceland first to familiarise myself better with the different style of riding. By the way the food was excellent with the exception of the "Icelandic soup" provided on arrival( thin, too salty and meat a bit fatty or gristly). The hot pools felt like sheer luxury and good for sore muscles. I would recommend the holiday to anyone reasonably fit, sociable, and able to ride!
