We did not know we needed extra money for drinks (soft and alcoholic) at the Makalali camp. We should have brought a smaller bag as well to pack for the couple of nights at the Makalali reserve.

Its not for novice riders and we had some long excellent canters, and some really twisty turning rides, you need to be able to stay on, be relaxed and comfortable on a horse in all paces, and happy to pop over small logs
